Get to Know Me A Little More

Tiffany Curry is from Peoria, IL, where she attended Augustana College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology (emphasis in Neuroscience) & Political Science (emphasis on American Government/Constitutional Law). She also possesses her Master’s of Business Administration with a focus in Human Resource Management.  While at Robert Morris University-Morris Graduate School of Management, Tiffany worked as a graduate assistant and studied abroad in London, researching the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and US Embassy. 

Tiffany is actively employed with Caterpillar Inc since May 2012. In her career with Caterpillar, she has held roles in Global Succession Management & Career Development, then Global Office of Diversity and Inclusion, developing and delivering the enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion strategy.  

Tiffany then took a role in Human Relations, where she worked on the 6-year agreement for the United Steel Workers labor contract (2013) for over 750 employees in South Milwaukee. She was also the process owner and consultant for random and reasonable suspicion drug testing, running a 6 Sigma project to impact the use of illegal substances with employees based on data analytics. While in labor, she assisted in third-party intervention for a United Auto Workers union drive and election. 

Tiffany then relocated to Central Texas, where she held a role as a Shared Services Recruiter & Representative. In this role, she managed and improved the recruitment process for the skilled trades for 8 Caterpillar facilities. Tiffany led investigations, facility-level cultural shifts, HR operations, and consulted facility leadership on talent. 

She has held a developmental role as an Operations Supervisor (Section Manager), where she led a team of 12-14 warehouse associates driving engagement levels of 99% while maintaining 0 recordable safety incidents and delivering on daily production goals.

Tiffany has also held a role as the North American Dealer Human Resource Consultant, with responsibility for the HR and organizational health transformation for the United States and Canadian CAT Dealerships. This role impacts 50 dealers in the United States and Canada and about 52,000 employees – with the development and implementation of the service technician strategy that has been adopted at an enterprise level.  

Tiffany is currently the Human Resource Manager, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, for a Caterpillar production facility of over 850 hourly and management/support employees. Tiffany has developed and leads the shift to learning culture through tangible strategic initiatives that support the development of the employee base in North Little Rock aligned directly with facility business initiatives. Further, Tiffany has responsibility for policy development and implementation, long and short term talent acquisition, facility communications, production gainsharing and compensation, and performance management for North Little Rock.

She currently writes a blog, Duvet To Desk, Innovative | Intentional | Thoughtful | Curious | Productive. She is very active in the community, co-creating and co-leading an innovative means of attracting and retaining talent at various skill levels to impact poverty within the Central Illinois Area. She is also an off-ice official for the Peoria Rivermenprofessional hockey team. Tiffany has always held the belief that fortune favors the prepared mind.
